On August 2nd, Kim Jong Eun welcomes Foreign Minister Wang Jiarui of China's Communist Party. Rodong Shinmun 3rd of August reported that the meeting between the two consisted of “warm and friendly conversation,” and that Kim Jong Eun passed on his regards to Chinese President Hu Jintao. Vice Prime Minister Kang Soek Ju, Secretary Kim Yang Gun, Director of the International Affairs Department of the Central Committee of the Workers Party Kim Sung Nam and the Chinese Ambassador to North Korea, Liu Hongcai, were all in attendance at the diplomatic meeting held August 3rd.
