Boney M a well-known disco group will hold a concert in Seoul this week to show support for the North Korean defectors who face repatriation.
Howard Kim, manager of concert promoter said that the disco group will play a concert in Seoul and will donate part of its ticket sales to a local defector group.
Boney M also held a press conference in Seoul yesterday to urge Beijing not to repatriate defectors detained in China.
The disco group which reached the height of their popularity relased 'By the Rivers of Babylon" in 1978 which contains information about freedom and the oppressed.
Kim said, "Boney M is to visit the Chinese Embassy in Seoul today to show support for defectors who are on a hunger strike and participate in a candlelight rally".
